Kreish Gurbaxani of Maharashtra oscillating his cue like a pendulum displayed a steady rythm of cue stroking to down Digvijay Kadian of Haryana in the best of seven frames by four frames to one at 129-05, 83-55, 17-64, 71-08 and 62-57 points to bag the coveted the Sub juniors snooker title of the 2020 Manisha Vascon National billiards &  snooker championship being played here at the PYC Hindu Gymkhana club on Friday morning.
The cue- delivery of Kreish was near perfect. His sighting, stance, alignment, timing of the motion of the cue just like the wall clock, his pause before striking was rock steady as he chalked up an almost flawless break of 93 missing out on the black ball for what should have been a century left his opponent, DigVijay gasping for breath.
Adding the second frame to his kitty, Kreish gained a healthy lead of 2-0.
DigVijay who is also a great snooker potential was not to be denied when he reduced the margin to 2-1 by pocketing the third frame.
However, Kreish wrested the initiative once again by taking the fourth to go 3-1 frames up.
DigVijay fought tooth and nail in the fifth but a confident Kreish edged out his rival in the exchanges for the black.
Finally Kreish potted the decisive black to win the frame, match and title.
Earlier, Kreish outpointed Strong contender Ranvir Duggal in the semis while DigVijay  had the better of Sumehr Mago of Maharashtra.
Even so in the much hyped last eight round match between promising Rayaan Razmi of Maharashtra and Ranvir Duggal of Chandigarh, it was Ranvir who triumphed by three frames to two in the deciding frame after being 1-2 down, levelling at 2-2 and then producing some great shots to come in sight of smelling victory.
When Ranvir sank the needed Pink into the top pocket, he exulted to the full. His fists clenched, he pumped wildly in the air and in an emotional state thumped the cushions of the snooker table.
Nevertheless his joy was shortlived as Kreish upset the cart of his dreams.
